Direct Recruitment of Assistant Professors 2009 - 10 in Government Arts and Science Colleges under Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service.

RELEASE OF LIST OF PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CANDIDATES       

            The Teachers Recruitment Board was entrusted with the task of recruiting 1024  Assistant Professors on various subjects to appoint them in Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service.   Accordingly, the Teachers Recruitment Board notified the vacancies vide advertisement No.4/2010 dated 29-03-2010 and calling for applications from eligible candidates.  While notifying the vacancies the Board followed the communal reservation as per G.O.Ms.No.65, P & AR (K) Department, dated 27-05-2009.

            The Board has received 11,164 applications from candidates for various subjects.  Out of these candidates, a total number of 7941 eligible candidates were called for certificate verification.   The certificate verification was conducted with effect from       07-06-2010 to 10-06-2010 and 30-06-2010 in the certificate verification, weightage marks were awarded for Educational qualification and Teaching Experience.

After completion of  certificate verification, the Board short listed eligible candidates based on the weightage marks secured by them in the certificate verification followed by communal roster at the ratio of 1:5.  A total number of 3296 candidates were called for Interview.  The Interview was conducted with effect from 19-01-2011 to 05-02-2011.   5 Interview Boards were formed for Interview purpose.

Now the Teaches Recruitment release the list of provisionally selected candidates based on their total marks obtained during certificate verification and marks awarded in the interview duly following communal reservation and other reservations. 

The subject wise total number of candidates provisionally selected is detailed below.
